Hmm.... I know... It's been a while... Well... I've been very busy with my work after my vacation... and I got sick.. really sick... sigh... don wanna tok bout it...

Anyway, instead of leaving my blog "dead"... I better write sth to keep it "alive". Now where should i start?? Hmm... So... i just got back from facial at Skin Tologist... a new beauty center, which was opened last month. It was my first time there... I've owas wanted to try 'em out since their opening but I was too busy, packed with scheldued almost av weekend...

I've tried a few samples before... their BB cream, sunblock and moisturizer... Really love it... but... it's slightly too pricy for me to afford them... :P The best i can do is... maybe just a regular monthly facial treatment... Well... better than nth mah... :P

I really love their treatment... I've went to a few other salons... none of them give full face massage... but Skin Tologist does... my beautician massaged my face for more than 10 minutes... i think... not only that... they even put on sunblock/bb cream after treatment... Normally my treatment ended with moisturizer only...

You may find the price here is a bit too pricy... but it's all worth it... all quality products are been used...

Will be goin Melaka on Saturday... Been wanting go Melaka but never make it coz our stay in KL was owas too short... So this time... we booked our ticket... purposely for Melaka.... Gonna spend 2 days 1 nite there... staying at Hotel Puri, which was featured in the famous S'pore drama, The Little Nyonya.

This trip is gonna a jalan-jalan cari makan trip and also sight-seeing at all the must-see travel spots... Not much shopping will be done... I hope... :P Trying to save up for my trip nx year... which i'd need to save up for USD!! Damn!

I'll be back on Monday... not gonna update my post that soon... it's gonna a very very busy after i come back... two wedding to attend... lotsa work to be done... Will try to update my Nyonya trip asap! Be patience yea!

Went to Bling Nail Studio again yesterday... doesn't have much time for full mani and pedi so I only shaped and color my nails...

As usual... my first choice will owas be French mani/pedi... Tried something new yesterday instead of Classic French... Had three layers of color (two diff shades of Pink cum glitter) as base color with white tips for my finger nails... and with the same base colour, but with hot pink tips and thin stroke of silver glitter on my toe nails...

Raya Eve Kayaking Trip

So.. this is an outdated post... :p

After so long we've been planning...finally... Sze Hong organized a Kayaking trip for us 2gether with his friends, with Borneo Outdoor Explorers (BOX). Paying RM150 p/pax (incl packed lunch and beverages) might sound expensive to some of u... but.. trust me... it's a worthwhile and fun-filled experience...

Lotsa sand... overturned... got all wet.. kayak under the hot sun... sunburnt... of all places but my scalp! :P In the afternoon... kayak in the rain... hot & wet... both we've experienced... it was GREAT! And thank GOD none of us got sick!

Made new lotsa friends, new experience... learned to kayak... It's been so long since I went outing with my colleagues... used to be very active... owas go 2 the beach... sunbathing... photo shooting... Really miss those days... but I got my own reason why I stop being active in outdoor activities... :)

Bravo to Sze Hong who drove as fast as he could...

P/s: Pichas were taken by Danny coz all of us doesnt carry any waterproof camera... also... too busy with paddling ady... no time to take photos... :P

e-Shopping kraze started to get outta hand since... eer... last month??? I've been shopping online non-stop, ordering clothes, contact lenses, hair accessories, bags, etc etc... and am super super broke now... I must stop... MUST!!!!

Of coz I don shop alone... my colleagues tagged along... All the good things must be shared right?? Tsk tsk tsk... Furthermore, shopping in bulk can get better deal n cheaper postage... :P

These are the things which arrived last week... my contact lenses, bags.. 2gether with my Chanel-inspired chain headband ("inspired" coz i couldn't afford an Authentic Chanel chain headband which cost NT$34,390!!!!).

Was supa dupa bored during this Merdeka break... din hav car to go out coz Dearie's sister is using his car... stucked at home.. trying to do my report but blardy internet was down.. how frustrating...

Haven't eat since morning... din manage to follow mum n dad out coz I overslept... bored bored bored...

Hmm... decided to ask my mum out for yam char session... havent really hang out with her for quite sometimes ady... used to bring her to nice Cafes... coz she wont have a chance to gotto such places coz my dad only bring her to the SAME kopitiam...

Anyway, we went to China Street, Mum wanna buy thread/yarn for her floormate... she's currently learning it just to kill time... Since we were there, I told Mum I wanna eat Pui So's noodle... Been craving for it for so long... about 2 years... ever since I'm with Dearie... He never wanna bring me there coz he sed it's very dirty n he called it "Lasap Mee" (dirty noodle).

But we couldn't find parking... so have to change venue... hmm.... but where?? Ah... why not Old Time kopitiam?? I love goin to new places... yippy...

The place was quiet... not many... in fact, we were the only customers... but i was told that this place it owas packed during breakfast...

Concept and menu are very close to Kaya & Toast... Kaya & Toast has Milo Dinasaur... Old Times have Milo King Kong... hahaha... Anyway, Mum had Hot YingYang (Coffee + Tea), I had Ice White Coffee...

Very lil choice of food and drinks.. hope they'll add up more soon... The shop itself is quite small... only a few tables.. mayb less than 15? But it's definitely a great place for afternoon tea session...

Love the environment there.. quiet, peaceful and cooling... not because it was raining... but of the trees that are surrounding the shop...

I Perm My Hair Again...

Yippy... I permed my hair again.... tsk tsk tsk...

Been waiting for so long.. for my hair to grow longer... and finally... I've achieved the longest length of my life... over my shoulder! Hahahaha... I never had such a long hair b4... the longest I had was shoulder length... that's the max... I cannot stand the same hairstyle for more than 3 months... I'll get bored with it... I'll cut, dye, perm, straighten.. den perm again... until my hairstylist told me to give my hair a break!!

Everytime I sed I wanna grow my hair.. all my frens would laf at me... they will definitely say..."we'll just wait n c" *piff*

To prove them all wrong... I keep my hair until now!!!! The last time I had my hair makeover was erm... CNY?? But I cant stand any longer!!! I must do sth to my hair... at the same time, keeping my goal... which is to grow my hair longer!!!

Meaning.. I cannot cut it!! So... I permed it... in that way... I got new hairstyle... yet maintain the same length... hehehehe... Hopefully by CNY 2010... it will be much longer so I can perm my hair like this (see below)

Long wavy hair

I know... from the picture... not much diff for u guys. (except the fact that I've gain some weight... hahahah) But my hair grow very slow... really... Sumtimes I feels like they just never grow... stuck there forever... So... my hair stylist asked me to try applying hair tonic... she sed our hair need vitamins too... if it's healthy... it will grow faster, more voluminous and shiny...

I'll try n see if it works... hopefully it does...

As usual... I've gone to Ray, I'm sure all of u know where Ray Salon is right?? Recently they've open a new branch, called Ray's Culture, located near Jalan Song's Upwell Supermarket, right above Aloha Bakery. They were having promo in conjuction with the new opening of Ray's Cultre. One fixed price for all chemical services (perm, rebonding, dye or treatment for any length including treatment and hair cut). All u need is to pay only RM119. Very worth for those who have super long n thick hair!

Anyway, I owas trusted Ray for doin my hair coz he owas know what I want... I recommended some of my frens there too and they all love it. This time, Kelly went with me. She finally wanna change her hairstyle after 6 yrs of straight hair!! 6 years!!! Man, i really salute her!

New TOY in hand

Finally got my new toy after so long... It's Canon EOS 1000D... well... of coz i wanted an EOS 500D.... but I don have enuf budget... What to do??? 1000D is good enuf for a beginner like me... and who doesn't have so much time to play with the new toy...

Anyway, never thought that I'll be getting a DSLR til a friend told me her brother-in-law is planning to let go his 1-week old DSLR for a very low price... coz he doesn't know how to use it... But everything needs practice... right???

After much consideration... and when I decided to get from him... he sed he's quite familar with the function ady n decided not to sell it to me.. grrr... BUT... he can help me get another brand new set... for a reasonable price... and still much lower than the retail price... And trust me... it's really really really LOW!!! Don't ask me how they get it for such a low price.. coz I dunno either... All I know is it's a brand new set with 1+2 International WARRANTY!!!!

Yippy... I must familiarize myself with all the functions before I go Melaka in October. Still too busy to play with it coz still got lotsa work to finish... sigh...

I sold my Gucci Bag and my Powershot S5is for this baby... Kinda regret that i gave my Tripod to the lady who bought my S5iS. Well... nvm... I don't use it too... Consider a bonus for her. Hahahahha...

I'm planning to get a waterproof camera too, hopefully before my KK trip nx year... Owas wanted one since I'm a BEACH person. I already hav a compact camera, Olympus Mju Mini Digital S, so I think I don need to get an expensive one... maybe Olympus Mju 550WP or Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1IF it's not too expensive. How to S P O T a Crocs Fakie!

To all Crocs lovers,

There were too many high grade (AAA) Crocs replica selling nowadays. To prevent all of us from rip-off, I found some facts found online... and hope to share it with all of u all so we don't get cheated by purchasing overrun Crocs at expensive price...

1. Look at the back of the Crocs. Check the website. Some fake wrote www.orocs.com instead of www.crocs.com

2. Look at Boulder, Colorado at back of the Crocs. Original one write Boulder, Colorado. Fake one they use Boulder. Colorado. See the difference? Sometimes the write Coulder, Colorado and also Oulder, Colorado.

3. Original tag got size and name of the model, while the fake one doesnt't have.
4. Original one is softer than fake one.

5. Look at the size at back of the Crocs. Fake one usually have different size from the tag itself.

6. For Off-road you can check the button with the Crocs logo. It must be perfect and shinning not blur. While for Olivia, you can check at the back of the diamond, if there is no wording then its fake.

7. Different font printed.

Korean Curry

Been wanting to try the Korean Curry ever since I saw it at the Korean Product shop the other day... Din get it coz I had limited cash tat time. So Angel went the day before... and get me a packet.

It's so easy to prepare...

All u need is...

1. Buy some meat of your choice - beef, chicken or lamb
*It's not suitable for FISH at all...*

2. Cook the meat...
*Half cook if it's beef or lamb*

3. Scoop the meat out to a bowl, pour in the Curry paste and heat it with microwave!

OR

Put the whole packet (of coz remove the box) into boiling water and heat it, den pour it onto ur meat.

P/s: the curry is actually cooked... all u need to do is... REHEAT it!
(I'm writing these instructions just to make my post look longer) :P

Ipoh Town Kopitiam finally has another new branch opening at Brighton Square... which closes late, coz I remember there's one time when Dearie & I passed by, after we had supper at 101 Premier, ard 12pm++ it was still open n crowded!!! Let's just hope that this will last long so we got more places to hang out at nite...

Dearie, Ving, Ving's fren n I went for "br-unch" laz Sunday... it was full! But we managed to grab a seat the moment we arrived... some1 had just left... lucky us...

Been wanting to go Cambodia but ticket was either too expensive to me... or the promo start at the wrong timing... But this time... it's a dream comes true... I must go no matter wat... even if the air ticket is blardy expensive... i must go before Angkor Wat is closed for visitation... In fact, some part has been closed down... it is badly damaged... it too dangerous for visitor to go in ady.

Will be goin with my mum, bro n niece after CNY. My bro and my dearest niece is coming back next CNY... this will be the very first time.. okie.. 2nd maybe... she celebrated CNY. They migrated to Auckland when my niece turn 1 y.o. They're back for visit every two years... But never had a chance to come back during CNY coz my sis-in-law works in a Uni faculty... Everytime ard CNY will be school reopen day for them in NZ. It owas been a busy time so she cant take any leave... But this time... for some personal reason, my sis-in-law is not coming back... only the two of them coming back... Bro just wan my niece to experience CNY for once...

Anyway, tickets to KL are awfully expensive during that time... cost about RM200+ per way! Gosh... bet it's time when everyone pack their bag n back to work in West M'sia after CNY ey... I do not have other option to choose from... coz that the best time for us to travel... Bro actually wanted to go b4 CNY, so we could meet in KL then come back 2gether for CNY, but my report due on the week b4 cny.. i don wanna take the risk just in case i can't finish it on time.. *touchwood*.

It's currently the BIG SALES for Air Asia... they're giving away 3 million free seats within Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. No free seats for Cambodia... too bad... but at least the tickets was pretty reasonable.. RM185 for return. Tota damage... approx. RM1.5k for 4 of us. Bro will be sponsoring us... so... not a big damage to me... but my credit card had exceeded the limit by charging these expensive tickets... -.-""

Can't wait for them to come back... cant wait to travel with my niece again... the last time we travelled together was two years back when the whole family went to KK 2gether. It was great! I wonder when we can do it again... it's kinda hard to get every1 free to go vacation 2gether.

Had lunch at Cheese & Tea yesterday... it was our first time there.. Dearie supposed to bring me to Jade Pot but I sed I wanted to try Cheese & Tea instead. The name Cheese & Tea sounds so yummilicious... Oh... I ♥ cheese so so so much!

Price are pretty reasonable there, or shud i say very cheap for an air-conditioned cafe? Food ranging from RM4.50 to RM8.00, drinks start at RM2.50 - RM3.50.

Menu was pretty simple and organize... everything is categorize... Chicken, Beef, Fish & Pork... oh yes.. Pork! It's not HALAL! :P

Service was alright... food was served at a very short time... other than the pizzas or perhaps anything baked... it took quite some times t bake coz they only got one small lil oven. Coincidentally, some1 ordered pizza too, so it took quite a while for ours to be served.

Pepper, from 11 weeks to 1 y.o.

My fatty bum has finally turned 1 y.o. today... Remember a year ago when we 1st saw him at Amazing Pet... we were hesitate whether to get him o not. We din even plan to get a second doggie after Christmas, some more he was quite Pricy... o shud I sed VERY expensive. Maybe it's all fated :)

He was the smallest compare to his siblings... but also... the naughtiest one too... even til now... He knew he's not allow to bite o play with shoes, but sometimes he would purposely bite it and flung it.. just to grab ur attention, especially when he is losing patience waiting for his food. I always love to test his patience... Teeeheee... He look so adorable when he is anxious...

Am gonna give him "special" dinner 2nite... instead of giving him kibbles... (P/s: I only feed him kibbles coz I don wan him to be picky like Christmas), I'll give Meat today... hehe... He has been wanting to eat Christmas food... Everytime when i let him out to the garden, he will try his luck, check out Christmas' plate n see if there's any leftover food. Hahahaha...

I also got him a new choker...
Slenzy bought him a cheese muffin... Kelly got her a packet of Acana's Biscuit... he's gonna have a great time 2nite. Too bad it's weekday... else i can bring him to the park, maybe ask Rockkie and Lulu to celebrate with him. LOL~!!

Went dinner with Dar dar at Premier 101 just now. Dropped by Korean Product before dinner coz Angel told me that they sell lotsa nice snacks n food...

Unlike 100 Yen Shop... it's more like a grocery shop. They sell shampoos, detergent, cold storage product, can food, snacks, etc... Every priced at RM1.80 and above, and all imported from Korea. Even the tauke himself also "imported" from Korea.. tsk tsk tsk...

Very friendly n polite man. A typical korean.

Actually there were alot more things that i would like to buy... love all those small can drinks, mostly from Lotte.... feels like buying them all but Dar dar and I din bring enuf money... hehe... we still need some for dinner. :P

Oh... I also found my favourite biscuits there, which i've been looking for LONG LONG time.... it's some puffy biscuits (See below: the red box)... which my mum bought for me when she went to Spore laz time.

Oh gosh... all my skincare are finishing at the same time... Meaning... it's time to SPEND!!! Damn I'm broke.... But the good thing is... I think I've finally found my permanent skin care... Yippy Ya Yay!!!

I owas love switching my skincare... try out new range/brand... coz I never found the one that I really like or really suit me... I have dry skin and sensitive, and its very hard for moisturizer to really absorb and penetrate into my skin. Til i finally tried Avène.

I owas see Avène shelf at Parkson, Riverside. Din really bother it coz they don really have a promoter there. Then I saw Guardian selling this Avène traveling set laz week... The traveling set contains a Facial Mist 30ml, Mask Sheets, Cleanser 25ml, Moisturizer 5ml and Toner 25ml for only RM28.80. Cheap... coz the facial mist and the mask sheet ady cost about RM30, if u buy 'em separately. So I bought it, give it a try... and I LOVE IT!!!!

Don't wanna end up impulsive buying... I did a lil research online... looking tru the contain of the product (Avène products all contain high percentage of thermal spring water and all natural ingredients. Not much chemical has been used), read most of the reviews... So far... most of the users give VERY positive feedback, and they all sed they'll continue using it...

So... no more hestiation... I got all the the basic essential care from Parkson. Since Parkson is on SALES now, I got avthing for 10% off.

12th Rainforest World Music Festival

This is a long overdue post... I've posted pictures in my facebook long long time ago..but just too lazy to edit n update my blog. Too many pictures... :P

Upon request... I posted some here...

So this is my 9th consecutive year here since 2001... Though the ticket price hike every year... (from RM15 to RM90 now), I still don wanna miss this worldwide event. Owas love the music, the atmosphere.. the happening crowds (except for those who goes there to get drunk or smoke weed).

As usual.. went for the Saturday nite show only. Couldn't afford three nite straight... 1. it cost a bomb... RM270 for 3-days pass; 2. Darling gotta work the nx day...

It was less crowded this year, due to the outbreak of H1N1. But still very happening... It was also good in a way coz there were no traffic congestion, more parking spaces, no more long Qs to wait for the shutter.

The concert ended pretty early too this year... ard 12pm... The Q for the shutter was so so so long... we waited for about 20-30 minutes hour for our turn to get back. I nearly passed out while queuing up... sudden cold sweat and felt like puking... thank God just a while... felt alot better after tat.. Guess it was too humid... and NO i wasn't drunk... and NOT even tipsy. :P
